I'm going to have to agree with you.
Mainly because Google works under sound principles of web hierarchy.
You know exactly what tags to code, how many KW, how to link.
Yahoo has no real intelligence so it cannot "learn" the way Google does.
Google is able to apply its complex algorithm to achieve better results.
Yahoo relies on quantity not quality.
Seems like you have to be counterproductive to score big on Yahoo SERP.
I would be shooting myself in the foot-- because 80% of my new customers come to me from Goo.
So I just optimize for G, and let Y! take care of itself.
Maybe when I have 10,000 links -- Yahoo will finally put me on top.
