Don't spam. That's the main thing. Add value to your answer and make it long and informative. Don't answer questions with a one word answer, don't put in something like go to this link: and then put in an affiliate link. That will definitely get you banned. Don't copy and paste the same answer repeatedly. If you want to direct traffic to your own web page, put in a long answer that gives the answer they want, then put your website link in the resource box.
