My yahoo site explorer data shaws that my website has tons of backlinks from a single website. It happens to be a directory site relevant to my niche to which I submitted my website weeks ago for inclusion in its listings.
Why am I getting these loads of inlinks from the same site, according to my yahoo site explorer stats? Is this a good or bad indication? How will this affect my site?

Yahoo site explorer is good and its helps to see our back links which create from other sites and higher the no. of back links higher alexa ranking . Means its directly proportional to back links. So its helps us to find out back links for our website.

So i just read on another forum that Yahoo is about to shut down site explorer. Can anyone confirm this news please?

you should select a filter "except this domain" and then check it and i know its very useful and very authentic.

These is really very important for yahoo PR such as it can be affect for the search engine it may be depends on so many things which can be good to provide for the links these search engine is really very important for the PR.
