Well, both Yahoo and Gmail are equally safe for me, not so much spam, or may it is only me who don't get any crazy letters from everybody.

i've used and still using both yahoo and gmail, and none of them have disappointed me...so i like both...

gmail is better as it provides services like google docs etc.
