For Dmoz, you need to wait for atleast three months before your submission is approved or more. This is because there are so many submissions that Dmoz receive everyday and since it's a human edited directory, it will take so much time before they can actually review your website for the category you applied for. The advantage of Yahoo directory is your website can be visible to searches performed when your keywords are entered.
