Is yahoo better than google?

Hi Every Body

I am number 6 in Yahoo, but not in the top 1,000 in Google for my site. Why?
I am not getting the reason.
Could any one please help me.

It's usually the opposite for most people. Ranking for yahoo is more complicated then Google.

But if you rank good for Yahoo then surely you will get good rankings in Google, just wait for few weeks.

I think its a lot simpler to get a higher positon on yahoo but because yahoo only accounts for about 6% or searchs its not that valuable.

these search engines have their unique what of ranking our sites on their search result.

its still highly dependent on the quality of your links but on top of that is your site content.

btw, I am 2 in google and 1 in yahoo. I really think that google is much difficult to deal with.

Usually when you are on top of yahoo you are not in the list of google vice versa. I don't also know the reasons...

They have different agorithm, When you are in the rank 1 for yahoo you don't have the same output in google,because of that algo, like adrian said. Yahoo allow those meta...Try to have quality content it can increase traffic to yahoo.

The results will be different in different search engines as they use different algo's to determine what results are best. Yahoo does not receive the volume of searches that Google does.

Allen here and Google is always better then yahoo because Google is provide really nice service also Google was really fast search engine then any other search engine so i will definitely choose Google.

Actually its depend on the algorithm.Google only count the link which are having "do follow" tag .
Google is better then yahoo it has covered more than 70 percent of search engine market.I get maximum traffic from Google than any other search engine and referral sites.
