First of all! Congratulations on your success with your forum. Any forum is good as long as its users like it

I can merely tell you the looks part because ultimately everything rests on the users, and as long as they like it, everything is perfect.
You can do with the footer or reduce it to some extent as it looks slightly big. Also the logo doesn't seem to match perfectly with the header.
The adsense link unit between the categories should have been blended well. See it to that you change the background of the ad unit. The rest looks nice.
