Can any body tell me the difference between Linux and window hosting server. which is the best for website hosting. Also suggest me the best hosting provider at cheapest price.

Linux is an open source system and is therefore more cost-effective to operate and maintain than windows. Linux has a reputation for stability and speed which means that Linux web server will crash less often than windows web server and Linux runs most process faster than windows.

the biggest and the main different is Linux is an open source operating system, and windows is not, the open source is the system in which user can make changes in the system according to there needs, and more over Linux is more secure and virus protected as compare to windows .
