    Default PHP-Mysql connection problem?

    hello every body,
    i am learning Php5.2.5 with My Sql DB, IIS server. when i am trying to connect to database i am getting this error -"Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() " any body please help me. how to connect MySql database on Php5.2.5 and IIS server. i have to download any connectors for the connection. waiting for your reply

    Tell you a simpler solution. Wamp Server is an open source project, free to use (GPL licence). Download WAMP and install it. It contains Apache server which is the best option for PHP MySQL solutions. Hopefully you will not have any problems. I guess it is your IIS which is not configured properly to run MySQL.
