Hi i am trying to download a file from my website to a certain directory on the users computer. what i want is the person to click a button to download the file but not have the save file dialog or show the download progress in the popup window. its kind of hard to explain but let me assure you i am not trying to download a virus to anyones computer im trying to accomplish something like this site has.
