Why do people claim some Linux distros (like Ubuntu) are easy to use nowadays?

Typing in a terminal and sudoing every five minutes does not equal ease of use.
Yes, I have Ubuntu installed on my second partition, I used to use it everyday. But I've tired of it as it's not nearly as user friendly as Windows.

yes it is true linux is cool butt is just for little kid that have too munch time on there hands and it seem to me that sam64 is one of them LITTLE KIDS
I had for two and I hate it xp is so munch better

The only one thing that keep windows in market is user friendliness.. even though we all know linux is better, safe and secure same with mac.. we want things easy... so we try to find excuses to stay in windows... yes I use windows.. XP Pro.. very very user friendly... but not so secure... that's why... even Mac was first in the market... windows became popular... ofcourse that untrustable freak Mr. Gates stole all the source codes from his good friend Mr. Mac.. Mac was concerned about safety and security... at that time.. the only people who had computers where the people who work on computers.. so didn't have to be much user friendly.. but Gates had the idea to make it user friendly so an average guy can start to use them...
