Some offer domain hosting, website design, traffic generation and many other services. These can be an extra added value, but depending on their level of expertise in each particular area, you might be better off going with companies that specialize in these areas than using the services at the hosting company.

Just what host is right for you? honestly, it's subject to the type of website you run, or are looking to create. Your experience and grasp on running websites is very important when considering a host.

For example, if you're new to hosting, you should be looking for first and foremost stability and support.

- Down time for the hosting should be pretty much non existant
- You should also look for 24/7 round the clock customer support. Preferably Live Chat support. Which is far more conveniant than trying to voice out words to some American who can't understand you!

Ontop of that, affordable prices. An affordable hosting package with good customer support is the best thing someone new to hosting can get. As there's always the possibility of upgrading your package, for yet again an affordable price, when the time comes that you need more space.
