Default VPS or stay on shared?

I have a vbulletin forum which is growing quickly in the last 2 weeks.

There's always about 200 to 250 people viewing the forum at the same time.

My question is: Do I really need to get a VPS or am I OK to stay on shared?

You know, That forum brings me no income at all, so I wish i could stay on shared but I really don't want people leaving my forum just because it's slow and all.

    I need your advices.

    Thanks

I believe that it will be a good idea to contact your web host and ask their support about this.
I personally think that you will have more opportunities with VPS.

If you are looking for good and cheap VPS, try Pinellashosting.com. The thing that really has impressed me is the willingness of the support staff to take the time to explain things to a newbie who asks very basic questions.

No point staying at shared accounts as you would have to upgrade very soon, so use the VPS. Quality solutions of thi type are presented by hostingsource.com.

Go grow. No shared hosting will stand the growing website. While VPS gives you much better performance.
