When a company, for example shared provider marblehost.com is offering domain name for "free" how do I know if this host is worth of trust and get the domain without need to go to registration service?
Do you trust such companies? Which ones?

Offers like that are fairly common. Usually you have to agree to remain a client for a certain number of months. Make sure that you are listed as the domain registrant, and that you get to keep the domain if you move to a different host, and you should be fine.
Hello,
I would stay away from these offers as it's not worth the risk.

I don't trust in these type of services. because these service are not protected.
Marblehost company is quite dependable and trustworthy and if you have deals with them, it means your business is in the firm hands. No downtime or glitches occur on their servers and their technicians are qualified and skillful.
Thank you!
AS I may see, though many people do no like and trust such offers, I believe they differ from one company to another. From the other side marblehost.com I was asking about appears to be a reliable company and their TOS are telling domains do belong to users.
So the conclusion would obviously to know of the company before having such deals. Thank you.
Hello
Everyone prefers to own a .com type of domain extension and .com continues to lead the domain pack for its perceived benefits and advantages. Though, .com continues to dominate the domain names, .org types of domain names are increasingly becoming well known for their better and cleaner image. This could be due to their non-profit and charitable origins and their altruistic nature. Furthermore, a domain extension that ends with .org tends to be seen by many people as something good and honorable. In fact, people can easily identify a charity or non-profit owned web portal ending with .org extension better than an ordinary .com web portal.
I think everybody prefer to use .org domain that is more reliable but it depends upon the site also cause if we get an DNS error then it becomes a problem..
Some companies are offeirng free domain of not only .com and .net but also really large list of TLDs available. Visit marblehost's site and see they are offering lots of them.
