It takes forever because they are trying to build a better place for better websites, and they are very careful when they are selecting one. Don't forget , patience is a virtue , so all you have to do in wait, something like : submit and forget.

DMOZ is good But i think they Should improve,
It should Be not much slow at approvals

I personally hate DMOZ. Corrupt admins.

yeah dmoz have the high PR but you should wait 3-6 months for their approval.
