Nope, I am afraid there aint any ways to speed that up. If you have submitted under their guidelines, You still don't have 100% chance to get approve. Sometime it takes 1-2 weeks and sometimes Forever.
I would advise you to concentrate on other PR7 Free web Directories out there.

    Good luck

i have submitted this site to dmoz about 5-6 months back and its still not listed. Some take like over a year and some forever like letterman said and if your lucky it maybe listed in less than a month.

There is no way to speed it up.

It's like "Submit...... and Forget it".
As letterman & sticker said above, it can take a LOT of time to get listed.

yup that's true. If your lucky enough you would see your listing in dmoz or else submit and leave.

It takes a while to be listed on DMOZ, most of the websites that are listed under DMOZ are more than 3 years old and so, maybe they like old websites just because they think its running for a while and wont just drop, don't forget to list your website in the right category that might fasten it a bit !

Don't get hung up on a DMOZ listing. It's nice to have, just remember to submit to the deepest and most relevant category possible. If you don't get accepted wait a few months, find another category you think your site best fits and submit it there.

You can't speed up. The big trouble is the editor never send you a feedback

One of my sites took over five months, the other only about four weeks. I have no idea why the difference.
