I am starting to slowly move into directory submissions now but I was wondering if anyone has used those auto places that let you pay for X sites and they run some software for it all?

Don't go for automatic submission. Manual submissions work best.

Manual submission beats any auto / semi-auto submissions in terms of quality.

I still trust full manual submission. It does take time, but we can control the quality.
