I have a query to all the directory owners. In fact, I am keen to know whether there are any paid directories where I would be able to submit my site. I know that there are few directories that make editorial listings especially when compared to submissions. What might be the exact reason for this? There are many people who pay for listing their website. Often, it might become hard and difficult for web owners to afford the cost. Therefore, I want to know the charges in association to this. Is there anyone who can help me out?

In some of the cases i use paid directories that has highpage rank and good seo friendly directories that helps to give good back link to the site.....

Personaly i also prefer the free directories. But it is true that paid directories obviously help to back link to the site.

Free directories cannot approved the link very fastly But paid directories can approved the link very fastly.

Before you choose any type of sites you have to ask following question for taking the right decision
Does that website relevant?
IS Hosting server located at the country you want to target?
Does it upload content regularly?
Back link of that website?
Total pages index in google?
How quickly google index new and crawl rate of the website
so before paying, check the qualit of the website with above points..

Sometimes paid directories are not that reliable and effective. Organic optimization even through free SEO methods can also prove to be good link building techniques
