Submitting site to directories before launch?

You shouldn't start submissions untill your site is complete. Many directory owners/editors will reject your submissions if they find your site is under construction

You can do 100-200 submissions per day without raising any flags with google. Big G takes time in indexing directories.

And most free directories take time to approve submissions. So if you submit to 10 free directories/day you can expect 1 or 2 approvals.

It's really best to finish your site first before submitting it to several directories because most of them reject sites that are not yet completed..

I personally would wait untill my site was live before submitting as directories wouldnt add non-working links.

Once your site is live then start link building or most of the directories will disapprove your site.

if not, Maybe reject form admin.

When you submit your site to directories, your site will be pending for moderation. Once you submitted an empty site, and it reaches moderation, what chances does it has for approval? So, I would suggest that you start submitting your site to directories on the day your site is fully operational.
