    HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Languagewhich is what browsers understand and interpret. With the evolutionof web came the requirement of HTML. It is widely used in developingstatic as well as dynamic webpages. From the time it was released andspecified, it is used in every stage of website development. HTMLcontains tags which are used to define elements of web. Moreover,different controls which could be used in a website are defined withthe help of HTML. HTML 5 is an advanced version of HTML and possessesadditional properties. Other than that, everything is almost similar.
