    htmldog.com is an AMAZING resource for HTML & CSS. They have a few swear words in there (maybe one of each) but they're humorous and you won't find a better site. I learned my HTML from an actual class and I got more out of that site in 1 week than I did from a semester of the class.

    I also suggest w3schools.com. This site provides best resources for html and css. It's a kid-friendly css guide because it also includes basic tutorial.
