Great Free Software To create .pdf files

Or you could use open office, which can save as a pdf file, and that is also free.

i haven't used any of the above mentioned one's, i had a used a plugin for word that would convert to pdf, sorry i don't remember the name of the plugin, but i'll try to look out for it.

I wish that more people use OpenOffice ...

OpenOffice is quite good even though I normally use Microsoft Office Openoffice would definitely be the best alternative.

You can use adobe pdf to convert things to pdf just print as if you were printing to a normal printer but select the adobe pdf printer and it will create a pdf file for you and adobe reader is free.
