I think what he meant (not sure) is.... the url in the first post.. from to firefox is http://www.firefox2dl.com/

in which it clearly says "this website is not affiliated with google or mozilla in anyway"

I wouldn't download anything from this page... it could be malicious software..

But I don't see any links in Beamup's post.. other than signature..

Firefox is what I use, after years of using IE. Man, I gotta tell ya, its nice to use.It really better than IE Trust me. I find that when I use IE, browsing the net becomse as a whole much harder. I get rampant popups that keep on going even after the program is closed, and I have never gotten any spyware using FF. When I used IE, I would do a weekly scan.

It sure is download it from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ for plain vanilla or with google toolbar download from http://tools.google.com/firefox/tool...eF8JeEAsWNtwEA

Hope this helps those still deciding to migrate across.

I think the best feature is the spell checker and close second is the safe recovery of open tabs when it crashes or updates. Something IE has never been able to do..

    I vote Mozilla No. 1.

hey guyes... one reason firefox become so popular is because of addons they have.. they have best ones around.. if you are not using addons.. just sruf around.. I am sure you will like most of them.. I am using "You Player" and "cooliris" everybody should check for these too.. hehe.. yeah I know/.. jsut coz I liked it doesn't mean everybody should.. but I would like to hear your opinions on this..

I like the addons for firefox. Currently using sxipper to upgrade the password feature of ff and it's great makes it easier to register to new sites and sign in quicker. I am also using a few other ones including ietab so that I don't have to use ie for the sites that only work on ie not ff.
