Can anyone suggest a tool to check server response?

U can also try by using "ping ip address" and u can get response.

i am using "ping ip address". it give me good results.

The latter two tools require that you monitor at a node where all flows or a significant number of flows can be monitored (in Cisco, a SPAN port or MONITOR port). Once you have determined the nature of it, you can then take steps to reduce the problem (bandwidth limits on the switch port, Quality of Service adjustments, Queue adjustments).
