There are many websites as well as softwares on internet with which you can easily convert the format of word and powerpoint. Just add the file you want to convert and select the output format.

Would be nice to know what format you want to have in the end.I hope that you meant about converting word docs into Powerpoint presentations.

You can find a patch to convert it to pdf, but I don't know which format you need.
