business major? Mackbook...
Most likely not. A regular PC will be best if you are going for a business degree. A mac is mostly used for graphics, pictures, and making videos.
Also, if you have never had a macbook before, it will be difficult to get used to this system and understanding how to use it. Although, you could learn pretty fast if you put yourself up to it.
I would say no. Only because a lot of programs are not available on Macbooks. If you have a class that uses specific programs that are not available on Macbooks, then you are going to have some trouble.
As for getting used to them, it does not take long. I used Windows for my whole life until I purchased a Macbook and it took me less than a month to get used to it. Now when I use a Windows-based computer, I find myself doing things that are only on a Mac. It is quite funny. I love my Macbook and I will never go back permanently to Windows.
Also, you can run Windows on a Mac, but then your computer will be prone to viruses.
Go for a normal laptop. Why do you need a Macbook only for college use.
just go for a laptop..why macbook
