Default a question about my computer / monitor?

My Computer was working fine untill I turned it on the other day and it said Cable-Disconnected, Go to Powersave.

The cables are connected fine, and I know this because I have tried plugging another monitor into the computer and I get the same thing, Cable Disconnected....

+ when I try turning the computer off by the power button on my computer (because I can't navigate to the power button on my screen as it doesn't work) It does not work,
or when I try the reset button the computer still stays on, so I have to turn it off by the plug..

does anyone know what is wrong with it and how I can get it back on?

    much appreciated

Sounds like it may be a problem with your video card, might need a new one.

    Dear, the problem might be;
    - that your computer monitor is disconnected from the computer central proccesing unit.
    or
    the u.s.b cable is damaged.
    or
It might be a disconnection from the computer hard ware connection.

I hope that the following can solve the problem.
    1) From start, go to control pannel.
-from control pannel to performance and mentatence.
    -click on system
    -from system click on hardware
-from hardware click on device management
-then click monitor to display options either connect or disconnect. Click connect or able to plug it and play.
    or
if this did not solve the problem, plug the cable to another monitor, if it continues then the cable might have damaged.

I think that might be a problem from where you plug in the screen, it might be broken down there, i suggest you take it to a computer shop to have it checked out, maybe it needs a new plug hole at the back
