    Default Why cant i change the resolution of my my computer display?

    I just connected my TV to use as my PC monitor and i have found now that i cannot change the resolution and now all of my icons are huge. When i got to properties to the resoution slider is seems to be unable to move from its 720x480 position. How can i change the resolution again?

    My neice tried to do this and was dissapointed that the max resolution of her Goodmans LCD TV was max 800x600.

    newer tv's with hdmi etc will support hi res like monitors

    but if your tv is older, it can't support a high refresh rate, and thats probably why it's switching back.
