My laptop stopped letting me open new windows?
Whenever I click on a link or pic at a website, and a new window is supposed to open up, at the bottom of IE I get "error on page." I've tried my security settings, pop up blocker, etc, and none of these are the problem. Do I need to take this in and get it serviced? Now if what I clicked on is just the next page, it goes. If it needs to open a new window, it gives me the error. Any suggestions?

Bloatware, or software installed by the manufacturer that you do not want (such as trial versions of software greeting photo) is less common in new Laptops these days - and certainly less likely to be in the Laptops of company unlike consumer Laptops. Bloatware is still there, though, and if you want a lean, mean computing machine, you may want to wipe your disk of unwanted programs.

Sometimes reinstall helps, try first with browser or just switch to any other to see if it's happening there. If all that fails reinstall system.
