It does not need engineers or technical staff to learn the success of the computer hardware. If you have engineering or technical staff interested, however, the background of the computer hardware can make you a more valuable person in your field, you can improve your job great.

I took a month long course in Minneapolis some years ago, just learning to put a computer together. It's not difficult; it's like putting together a piece of furniture. In the employment world, there are some entry level jobs out there that will let you in as a high school graduate, but they'd like you to have at least an associates degree along with a CompTIA certificate, such as A+, Network, Security, and so on. Neither college tuition nor testing for those certifications is cheap, either. If you are opening your own business as a computer tech, potential customers would like to see your education and certification posted as well. Remember, in business, if you manage to damage someone else's computer beyond repair, you get to replace it.
