    Hi

FTP (File Transfer Protocol), is the simplest way to exchange files between computers on the Internet. FTP is commonly used to transfer Files back and forth for your personal homepage. It is commonly used to download shareware or other files to your computer from other networks. To use FTP you should acquire an FTP client or to put it in simple terms "a ftp browser". Your web browser can also make FTP requests to download programs you find on a web page. Using a ftp client you can rename, add or remove files. Doing this generally applies to your personal account ftp. Most internet services provide free web space. Contact your internet service provider to find out how to use your ftp account for a web page.

    Thanks

    Hi

Short for File Transfer Protocol, the protocol for exchanging files over the Internet. FTP works in the same way as HTTP for transferring Web pages from a server to a user's browser and SMTP for transferring electronic mail across the Internet in that, like these technologies, FTP uses the Internet's TCP/IP protocols to enable data transfer. FTP is most commonly used to download a file from a server using the Internet or to upload a file to a server (e.g., uploading a Web page file to a server).

    Thanks

FTP is an acronym for File Transfer Protocol. As the name suggests, FTP is used to transfer files between computers on a network. You can use FTP to exchange files between computer accounts, transfer files between an account and a desktop computer, or access online software archives. Keep in mind, however, that many FTP sites are heavily used and require several attempts before connecting.

FTP as short for File Transfer Protocol, the protocol for exchanging files over the Internet. FTP is stands for file transfer protocol. It is a standard network protocol used to copy a file from one host to another over a TCP based network, such as the internet. FTP is built on client server architecture and utilizes separate control and data connections between the client and server. FTP users may authenticate themselves using a clear-text sign-in protocol but can connect anonymously if the server is configured to allow it.
