Do you still defrag?

Does anyone still run the defragment programme?
I used to but cant say I can remember now the last time I did.
I suppose with the vast memory amd power that the pc has compared to a while back the need is not there as much as it used to be.

Ofcourse, I still defrag regularly. I have drives woth total of 3.5 TB and much of it is heavily used, so defrag helps me a lot to keep the systems running smoothly and provides fast file access. I use a commercial automatic background real-time defragger and it works brilliantly..truly 'install and forget'. It even prevents much of the fragmentation. Google 'real-time defrag' for links to downloadable trial versions.

I have always defragged my drives (use a fully automatic commercial defragger which works great) and believe it has helped prevent performance loss over time.

I defrag my laptop drive once a month but sometimes less than that
