When am I allowed to have/use a signature?
Webicy requires that all new members have a minimum of fifteen (15) [quality] forum posts to be permitted to have/use a signature here. Users will automatically be granted the privilege of having/using a signature once he/she has hit the fifteen (15) post minimum.

What can my signature contain?
Signatures may include/contain standard text and links. Standard text and links within user signatures must be of normal font size (BB Code "size 2" or smaller) and can be styled/formatted using color and text decorations such as bold, italicize, and underline. Signatures MAY NOT contain images or links to images with the exception of Webicy's forum emoticons.

What kinds of links are allowed in my signature?
Affiliate links and other links to legal sites are permitted in user signatures. Users, however, may not [under any circumstance] link to porn or warez sites - legal or not in the user's country; Webicy is trying to maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for webmasters and online business owners to engage in safe Internet discussion.

How many links are allowed in my signature?
Webicy permits UP TO four (4) links for use in forum signatures. This policy is to depress spammy-users and keep the quality of our posts and forum content.

Can I sell my forum signature links?
Yes, your forum signature links are entirely controlled by you, and it's up to you whether you want to use them for your own self promotion or if you would like to sell them. HOWEVER, please be aware that only you can login to your account - if a member here logs in on their account, buys a link from you, and you allow them to login to your account to change the signature, you will both be banned as you will be detected and charged for multiple account usage.

Do forum signature links actually help?
This question has been asked by many webmasters over the Internet and the simple answer is YES. Every link pointing back to your site, every backlink, counts! No link to your site can hurt or affect your search engine rankings in a negative way. Plus, forum signatures can also drive traffic to your site; just be sure to use interesting link titles.

What kind of signatures are encouraged here at Webicy?
Webicy would like to main a professional and intellectual atmosphere for webmasters to engage into discussions. Thus, we would appreciate if you help keep your professionalism by having a "professional signature" here at the forum.

Typical professional forum signatures have a complimentary closing and signature, similar to the parts of a business letter. Having a line such as "sincerely," or "best of luck," and underneath it your name or alias (username), creates a professional stance among fellow webmasters, and helps build your reputation and credibility throughout the forum [as well as popularizes your name].
