Ei dude.. I think that your title is different from the content... I think it should be Link Building not keyword optimization.. because keyword optimization simply means, choosing the correct word.. and keyword is one of the most important to search engine.. but sometimes most seo forget it's importance in SE's

He dint even say a word about optimising keywords. Keyword optimization is the art of choosing the correct keywords, less competitive but search able keyword.

Well, this information is really nice but it didn't judges the title of the thresd. These techniques can be used in link exchanges.. the info provided is fine, only need to change the title so that it suits the given info.
