    Well, everything you said was right, but you miss some important aspects which are you can do that by doing keyword analysis and see what other competitors are doing. second, choosing the unique keywords and embed these keywords to your content, this increases your chance for your website to rank faster.

    If we are talking about SEO, it's basically is competing for high places (top 10) for relevant keywords. Where your site need to outrank others to get as much traffic from Search then others. A well-planned and executed competitive analysis can help you get a better understanding of your competitors. You research keywords you want to rank and you compare their sites with yours by key indicators and seo metrics. When you understand the difference, you know what you need to improve.

    Also a good competitve analysis should give you insights how much effort it will take and will cost you to compete for top 10 in this query. You should pick you fights. Because in a very competitive niches SEO can costs a lot of money. Maybe you should focus on other channels or research less competitve keywords, build your content strategy on other keywords.
