If you're already on social bookmarking and social networking sites, you just need to optimize it well and socialize.. If not, join to as many social bookmarking sites and social networking sites and start gaining reputation, add your links, and friends and socialize..

You're right. Doing SEO doesn't happen overnight. You really need to work hard and wait for the result. In this way, you really need to make the difference.

I think you might want to try social media for instant traffics but there were no overnight success on SEO arena, IMO. Building backlinks is a tedious job with really hard workings.

SEO is a project that takes time. Unless you want to use black hat tricks which will probably get punished, you will have to do some practical things to increase your SERPs.

Submission is a good method. Yet since you have not the time, you can try blog commenting and social networking. But just as I said, it takes time also. It is impossible to get success overnight.
