    The aim for semantic search is to determine the intent and contextual meaning of the word/phrase a person is using for search.It provides most relevant answer by evaluating and understanding the search phrase.

    Semantic search is when the search engines almost take things a step further to retrieve other relevant search results. It's the process of understanding the language you are using to identify other relevant search results.

    Semantic search denotes search with meaning, as distinguished from lexical search where the search engine looks for literal matches of the query words or variants of them, without understanding the overall meaning of the query.
