Does word press coding effects in search engines???

Hi,

Can any one tell me that using word press technology to create a website has some extra effects on search engines? Does it increase number of visitors to the site? or any thing like that?

Is it true, I have just heard this, I may be wrong but need to be clear for the same.

i just suggest you should take help of any experience person or you also take help of search engine to find it.

Yes Google prefer wordpress as CMS. But that does not mean that you will reached at top rankings, because if you are using wordpress than your competitor is also using same. So you will have to put the quality posts and will build links with the relevant websites.

Than only you will be able to get good rankings.

In my experience it works against you of you are using the hosted version. The simple fact that they are hosting works against you. All hosted site builder sites will work against you and the SE's.

If you are hosting your wordpress site that is better, but you will still need to use the SEF and SEO modules and components for it (mod-rewrite, etc), be able to edit your code and tags, and have the ability to optimize your content correctly. If you looking at using workdpress or any other CMS as a way to get a website working without having any coding ability, you will get no where real fast.

I am fully agree with your reply Peterson.

By doing such an activity there may not be a great profit since you have to do your off page activity by your own and whatever you will be doing, the profits will again distributed with you as well as word press itself.

It will not help you to stop your activity anywhere.. what you need to do is have hard tough efforts..
