what is deep link??

Deep links are nothing but the inner pages of your website.

For eg. http://forums.webicy.com/ is our forum url and http://forums.webicy.com/showthread.php?t=7551 will be our deep link.

Ya I second that....deep links are basically the inner pages of a website. The example given by Sticker is a very self explanatory one....

Deep link is a inner page of a website. I have found that targeting inner pages are very effecting in link building.

Getting links pointing to inner pages of your site helps to develop more entry pages for your site, where you can target a number of inner pages for other keywords not used on your home page.

I think it is say, if you submit an article to a directory, but instead of linking to your home page, you link to a page within your site, a couple of levels down.
