You can use different meta tags for different pages and that should be related to the page content.

Yes. I think adding tags relevant to pages should get me better results. But I would still like to get more inputs from other webmasters aswell.

Meta tags are not really a necessity nowadays. Google for one doesn't give that much value to it as compared to Yahoo. But I'd still include them though and make them unique on each page - it's like presenting your site the proper way to the SE bots.

These days its not required that you have meta tags added to the page. But I feel it would be better if you add meta tags to the page as there are still lot of search engines that look for meta tags.

Use them, The best answer I can give you is to go to the different meta tag generators there are and make different tags load them on your site. then go to a different generator and have it test your tag and give the results.

I spent a whole day doing just that for my site. Sounds goofy right?
Well the next day I set a record that still stands today 150 users and visitors at one time on line on my site.

Must have made a difference and now I feel very comfortable making meta tags also learned a bunch about key words.
