Re: Nofollow vs dofollow
Dofollow links are hyperlinks that tell the search engines to pass along their page rank to influence on outbound links. This factor affects a lot for SEO purpose. If you get more dofollow links, then search engines will decipher your links as backlinks and you have more chances to receive positive values for your site’s ranking.
Nofollow links are exactly the opposite. These hyperlinks don’t have the ability to pass on a page rank status to other websites. Nofollow links don’t consider as crawling links from search engines and so the link associated with Nofollow websites won’t crawl by search engines.

Dofollw Back links
Search engine crawlers crawl the whole content on your webpage including images, links, keywords etc.Whenever they find a link,if the link is dofollow link then the crawlers follow the link and land on other webpage. If you want to get indexed in google and rank high on google then you have to focus on these dofollow backlinks.
Nofollow Backlinks:
Nofollow backlinks are ignored by search engine crawlers.Whenever you are linking to any website which is not of high value then use rel="nofollow" attribute in your html of the webpage.

Re: Nofollow vs dofollow
A link that have 'rel=nofollow' tag in '<a href="">' tag of html code, known as No follow link and the absence of this tag in '<a href="">' tag called as Do follow links. Basically Google not crawled the link with nofollow tag but it can be useful for the site in visitor point of view.

In simplest terms, Both do follow and no follow links can give you inbound traffic. But only the former can give you the index you need for your site.

Re: Nofollow vs dofollow
No follow links are not indexed by Google, but they are important for getting traffic. So both of these types of link are important for SEO strategy.
