    PPC stands for pay per click and CPC stands for cost per click. There is no major difference between PPC & CPC. Both are payable method for promoting websites. PPC based advertising allows to get direct traffic to your website where advertiser pays the internet publisher when ads are clicked. CPC based advertising basically allows businesses to pay only for the targeted leads they receive.

    PPC is where you set an explicit value for each click like how Overture used to work before it became Yahoo Search Marketing and like many other smaller PPC providers do.

    CPC is an average value of the cost per click as in Google AdWords method the value of Maximum CPC is set but not always achieved.

    PPC (Pay Per Click) usually refers to the overall industry of paying for traffic.

    CPC (Cost Per Click) usually refer to as a measurement of how much a click costs.
