I will give you some basic tips.
You must start with your On-Page SEO (Meta tags, meta descriptions, unique and useful content, RSS, site map etc)
Then go on with Off-Site SEO - link building, social bookmarking, social network bookmarks, RSS directories submission, directory submissions etc.
