    Post Search engine miscount?

I was wondering if anybody new why search engines such as MSN and ASK show more indexed pages than the site acutally has. I'm babysitting a site that has 53K pages but MSN has over 200K pages indexed. Whats that all about? Anybody know why this happens?

I dont think this should be a concern. Stats will defer from search engine to search engine. You should look at the relative stats. Like relatively the increase / decrease is the same in a particular search engine.
