    Default Does it matter when a title for a site is plural when it comes to SEO...

    ...optimization? Which is better? I have a site and when naming the page I am debating about naming it with a plural title, IE: Names Vs. Name or does in google the plural one matter more and even if someone types a singular it will still bring up the one with the plural...

    You title name should be the keyword or keyword phrase you are targetting.

    In search engine like G..it will be treated differently and words like cellphones vs cell phones..If you like to optimize both keywords you can start with plural one when it's already optimize..it will be easy for you to target the singular keyword..

    Yes, it really matters because you can have different rankings in search results for a particular keyword that is used in singular and plural form.

    Yes every keyword has a different rankings. For eg. forum & forums. Both these keywords would have different ranking. You might rank well for the term 'forum' but it may not be the same for 'forums'.

    Just make the title as apt as necessary - it doesn't really affect your SERP. The offpage (backlinks using anchor texts) optimization is the one that will have a big impact on your SERP placement.

    Title is very important and if your site named in plural promote it also in plural, sometimes use singular form...

    Yes it does matter. So it's important that you have to be extra careful in choosing the title for your website.

    No worries. It doesn't matter if you use plural word on your title.
