Does having a unique IP have any impact on SEO results?

If your ISP does virtual hosting correctly, you’ll never see a difference between the two cases. s far as I am aware a dedicated IP in itself does not offer any benefits over a shared IP except in situations where your hosting provider allows undesireable sites to host with them.

If you find yourself sharing an IP address with several illegal, imoral or unscrupulous websites then you could find yourself labelled by the SE's as coming from a bad neighbourhood.

However, this should not be an issue if you stick to the mainstream "known" hosting providers who all have contractual conditions preventing the hosting of questionable sites on their network.

Sharing an IP can have a negative impact but having a unique IP doesn't necessarily assure you good ranking.

I agree with you. A unique IP is good but it doesn't help in good ranking.

Some hosting sites need this, a unique IP address but it doesn't have a big impact in seo whether you have a unique one.

If you are able to generate unique class C IP backlink for your site. Than it will help you more to get PR and SERP for your site.

Yes if you link exchnage with 10 sites and all 1o sites have same IP then search engine count only 1 link.
