A compiler is a program that translates high-level programming language into machine code( absolute code, object model, sometimes on assembler language). An input information is the algorithm's description or the program on the objective-oriented language, but the output is the compiler's equivalent description of an algorithm that is machine-oriented language.

A compiler is the program that translates the high level language into low level language. It is the instruction that converts the machine level languages to the low level languages that can be easily read and executed by the computer.

A compiler takes computer programs written in a "High level language" and converts them into either "Assembly language" or "Machine code" that a computer is actually able to run.

A compiler is a software program that compiles program source code files into an executable program. It is included as part of the integrated development environment IDE with most programming software packages.

A compiler is a software program that transforms high-level source code that is written by a developer in a high-level programming language into a low level object code (binary code) in machine language, which can be understood by the processor. The process of converting high-level programming into machine language is known as compilation.

Compiler is a translator that takes computer program written in High level language(Programmin languages) and convert into Low level Language(Machine language) so that machince can understand and execute the program.

In computer science, a compiler is a software that translates high-level code to low-level code.

A high-level code is programming language code, like C, C++, C#, Java, Pascal, Cobol, etc.

Low-level code (or machine code) is the machine language, a series of numbers (machine instructions) that are loaded into the memory and executed by the CPU. Those instructions determine the actions the will be performed by the computer or device.

What people use to call a program or an app is, in fact, a long series of machine instructions and other files all packed in a single file. That file (the program), was generated by a compiler after it translated many high-level language codes into machine code.

Compilers compiles our program and converts our high level language program into machine level language.
Every high-level programming language comes with a compiler. compiler is the language, because it defines which instructions are acceptable.
