Php or Asp which is best for webpage design?

i think asp, is alot simpler but it depents what you are doing

For design? Both PHP and ASP have little(or none at all!) to do with the design of a site since they're both used to improve and make better and easy the functionality of the site. If design is what you have in mind, CSS is what you need and not server-side scripting languages such as you've mentioned.

Its depend on person mind, that he which language use he easily.

I think that PHP gives you more options.

I recommend that you use Php because you can find more help about it on the web (if necessarily off course).

php is the best..no doubt about that..i have been working with php and asp both..but php is far better..

I think PHP is the best option for you.I am also using PHP these days.But ASP is more secure then PHP.Now choice is your's.

PHP and ASP are not design tools but programming languages for your dynamic database driven websites. For Web page Designing you have to contact with graphic designer or use Adobe for your design and then its slicing for your html page.

As for as these both languages are concerned , PHP is easier then ASP for starters
