PHP is good one or .net is good one?

As .net is been used because it been more secure than PHP, but on the other hand PHP is does not require much feasebilty so it cost less and most of the open sourcce support PHP as a back end. So i wil to go for PHP.

Let's ask the pertinent question: which of these is easier to learn for free? I think PHP.

PHP is more secure. ASP.NET is faster than PHP4. PHP5 and ASP.NET perform about the same. ASP.NET is known for exploits when running on IIS. PHP is cross-platform. ASP.NET is windows only. PHP is free and less costly to use. ASP.NET web hosting is very expensive. It really depends on what you want to do. What will be the size of this eCommerce site? For larger sites, ASP and Microsoft SQL are your best bet. MySQL is not suitable for large websites unless InnoDB or Merge tables are used, as well as proper database design.

It is true that the .net framework is a software framework that runs with the Microsoft Windows. But PHP Language is better than .Net because its have some ready to use features which makes its more popular than .Net.
