    Use Latest Netbeans 6.5 , It has PHP support and you can find lot of documentaion. Do visit www.netbeans.org PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. Much of its syntax is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with a couple of unique PHP-specific features thrown in. The goal of the language is to allow web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly.

    I learn PHP+MySql via using the video tutorials from lynda.com. Of course, php.net is a nice site for reference.

    Why dont you try learning from books. One good book I can recommend is Sam's Learn PHP in 24 hours.

    well i am also learning PHP and the best sites for that is w3schools and if you do daily and have a lesson regarding PHP than i am sure it will be much easy for you to learn PHP.
